5 Star Hotels in Malta

While visiting Malta, there’s no need to skip on luxury. Surprisingly for a tiny little island there are quite a few 5 star resorts to choose from. Today I thought I’d share with you my top 5 recommendations.

The Palace – Sliema

the palace sliema review

The Palace in Sliema has to be one of my favourite hotels in Malta. Whether if it’s for a weekend get away or just for lunch. The hotel is very modern  and luxurious. They also have themed rooms if you’re looking for something extra. A music fan? Stay in the music suite which comes sound proofed and has a drum kit that you can play until your heart is content. Also, they beds are super comfortable, you’ll never want to leave.

This is another of my favourite hotels, it’s located not far from where I live so I’m often here, be it for the using the gym, visiting the spa or for afternoon tea. Inside is modern and spacious and has various eating places available onsite – the favourite being Blue Elephant. Located in the heart of St.Julians next to the marian, it’s a great base for exploring the island.

If big fancy hotels aren’t you thing, maybe you’ll prefer this boutique hotel located inside the famous Mdina – the silent city. The hotel has a personal touch and is a family run hotel. They have an onsite restaurant but there is choice of amazing restaurants within walking distance as well. If you fancy going all out – why not book a Deluxe Suite with Terrace and Jacuzzi.
