Travel: A weekend in Gozo

About a month ago I headed to Gozo for the weekend. It was my first time staying over night there and I absolutely loved it! It was only a 30 minute ferry from Malta but felt miles away!

We stayed at Murella Living B&B in Marsalforn, which is the cutest little hotel. Each room is themed differently and had everything we could need for a couple of nights stay. We added breakfast on for an extra €5, which was well worth the money.

There wasn’t too much to see in Marsalforn, but we wanted to explore the island anyway.

Our first stop for Ramala bay. It was deserted because well, it was March, but it was a beautiful beach. We then headed up to Mixta Cave that over looks Ramala bay.

Look at those views…I could have sat up there for hours. But there was more places to explore. Our next stop was Wied il-Għasri, which was one of the most beautiful places i’ve ever seen!

We then headed back to Marsalforn to Candy Cafe for some lunch…and maybe some treats!

In the afternoon we went to the shooting range, although we weren’t allowed to take pictures. Met some friends for a coffee, had a wander around Victoria and then had a lovely dinner at …argh I can’t remember the name! But it was really good.

Sunday morning came, we took it easy, had breakfast then headed to the ferry to go home.

I already can’t wait to go back and stay again. Have you been to Gozo? What’s your recommendations?
