Lately I’ve watching a lot of travel vlogs and I’ve caught a bit of wanderlust. I live on this beautiful little island in the middle of the Mediterranean and I don’t make the most of it. The airport is 20 minutes away with connections all over Europe.
So it’s about time I stepped out of my comfort zone and did some traveling and see more of the world before I have I don’t have the time anymore. So this year I’m aiming to visit 3 places –
I’m hoping this is going to be my first port of call this year. The flight is only 40 minutes from Malta and less than €100 return. So i’ll start small. I’m ashamed to say that I’ve been 7 years on this Island and have never visited Italy or Sicily and it’s right on my doorstep. Time to change that!
I’ll be going here in the summer for work anyway. While I’ve been here a few times over the last couple of years, it’s been about 10 years until I got the see the city properly. So while I’m there for work, I’m hoping to extend my time there by a couple of days to do some exploring and take advantage of the situation and see more of Amsterdam.
More places in Malta
I thought I’d also start off with some places closer to home. There are a LOT of places in Malta I’ve never been – shame on me. So I vow to explore this little magical island a lot more over the year. This is a cheap option as I can easily visit one or two different places in a day. So I’m going to plan some up coming day trips soon.
Where would you like to visit this year?
