Two of my favourite hobbies are Brunch and Afternoon Tea (not together!). Most weekends I like to try and fit at least one of these in and last week I went for Afternoon Tea at the Corinthia Hotel in St.Georges bay.
This is actually the second time I’ve been here and this time I thought I’d take along my camera and show you. This is actually going to be the first instalment of a mini-series I’ll be starting in a quest to find the best afternoon tea in Malta, so if you’re like me and love afternoon tea – there will be plenty of more posts to come.
So anyway, this is what we had for Afternoon Tea:
Everything that we were given was so delicious. We had the following:
Gammon & Red leister, Smoked Salmon & Cucumber, salami Napoli & piccalilli sauce sandwiches.
Scones with cream and jam, fruit cake
Milk and White Chocolate truffles
Selection of Pastries
English Breakfast Tea (of coffee if you prefer)
For all of that it was €13.50 per person, and considering we could have split one between two people I think this is a really great price.
So if you’re in Malta and fancy treating yourself to some afternoon tea, be sure to pop into the Corinthia and check this out.
Where’s your favourite place for afternoon tea?
