Back in December I set myself Fitness Goals for 2016 and I thought I’d do a bit of an update post, more for myself to keep myself in check than anything else.
So back them I set myself the following goals:
- Start running, with the aim of completing a 5k by the year end.
- Take yoga up again (once a week at least).
- Commit to the Saturday morning exercise class.
So…running. To be honest that hasn’t been going so well. It’s the only last couple of weeks that I’ve only got myself into a proper work out schedule. But I’m hoping to start soon…watch this space.
Next up – Yoga – Check. I’ve committed to myself to this and so far I’ve been every week for the last 2 months so I’m happy about that.
Saturday morning exercise class…I’ll be honest that hasn’t been happening either…
However I have taken swimming up again and I’m currently going 2-3 times a week so I don’t feel so bad. I occasionally go for a power walk in the mornings but I have been pretty slack with that lately (it’s just so cold getting up in the morning and I love my bed!)
So for now I’ll keep up with the yoga and swimming and hopefully over the next few weeks and months I’ll start introducing some sort of running into my routine.
