While I was in London last weekend for work I managed to pop into Primark in Hammersmith. I didn’t intend on going, however my Swedish colleague is obsessed so I said I’d accompany him – It would be rude not to, right?
I have a slight obsession with shoes, I can’t remember the last time I went on a trip and didn’t bring at least one pair of shoes home. Between here and the UK I have over 300 pairs! It might seem excessive but I’ve been collecting a long time.
So the first pair I picked up was this pair of black suede court shoes with a chunky heel and ankle strap. I love heels, but I find it’s not practical to wear super high heels day to day, but I still love a little bit of a heel and these are the perfect height.
The second pair I got was these black leather mules. From owning over 300 pairs of shoes, surprisingly these are my first mules. I saw a girl wearing something similar the day before and thought ‘oh nice shoes!’ and then I saw these – the same style the day after I had to pick them up.
Last but not least I picked up these black flat suede sandals with gold details. In summer I basically live in sandals, so these are a welcome edition, you can never have enough cute sandals in summer!
Like I mentioned in an earlier post, I have a bit of a love hate relationship with Primark. Sometimes you’ll find something amazing, other times everything just looks cheap. If i’m buying shoes from Primark I tend to go for a suede finish as sometimes the leather can look cheap.
Have you bought any primark shoes lately. I’d love to see them…(tweet me – @somftblog)
