So last Tuesday I jetted off to Amsterdam for a work conference for 3 nights, I have a few conferences per year and Amsterdam is probably my favourite one. I just love the city and if I could I would totally live there.
While visiting Malta, there’s no need to skip on luxury. Surprisingly for a tiny little island there are quite a few 5 star resorts to choose from. Today I thought I’d share with you my top 5 recommendations.
Last month, the lovely guys over at Flash Sticks challenged me to learn a new language in 30 days, I love learning new languages so I jumped at the chance and accepted the challenge.
Flash sticks is a post-it note based system that is supported by an app. You basically have 100 word to learn in a month – so that works out roughly 3 per day – not so difficult right?
Lately I’ve watching a lot of travel vlogs and I’ve caught a bit of wanderlust. I live on this beautiful little island in the middle of the Mediterranean and I don’t make the most of it. The airport is 20 minutes away with connections all over Europe.
So you’re thinking about visiting Malta? Great choice, it’s a beautiful island rich with culture and history. I’ve been on this little rock for over 7 years now, so I thought I’d share with you some tips before you visit.
So at the moment I’m currently in London for a work trip. From Malta the flight is only 3 hours, so I don’t need to pack too much in my hand luggage as it’s only a short haul flight. Having to take flights often, i’ve mastered the art of packing hand luggage and I try to keep it simple. So here’s what I take with me:
You won’t meet two ex-pats that have the same story, I often get asked how I ended up in Malta so I thought i’d share my story with you.

It’s become a bit of a tradition over the last few years, that me and my boyfriend make a trip to London for some Christmas shopping. I’d only ever been to London before for work, so I’d never really had much shopping time. So it’s nice to go when I have no other commitments. Although we only go for a day, we still always have lots of fun and manage to cram as much shopping in as possible.
One of my favourite places in the world is, you’ve guess it – Las Vegas. I’ve been twice now, the last time being in October this year. I know it’s not everyones top destination but for me it has everything I want – lazy days by the pool, good food, amazing shows, concerts and good shopping!
