Half the fun of working out is getting to wear cute accessories right? Well for me it is. I’ve rounded up a few of my favourite workout products at the moment.
Ever since I started an office job 7 years ago I noticed the pounds creeping on. Like most people I sat my desk all day, snacking on junk food and working long hours to meet deadlines. Spending a big percentage of my life in the office under these conditions I noticed the damage it was doing, not only physically but mentally as well.
In the recent years there has been so much awareness about mental health issues, and it is important to keep a healthy mind. It’s not just things like depression that can effect us, things such as stress can not only effect us emotionally but also physically as well.
Over the years I had tried various Yoga classes, I’d heard about the amazing benefits and wanted to see for myself. In 2014 I attend one at the Hilton in St.Julians quite a few times and while I enjoyed it I always felt there was something missing.
My old morning routine used to be – sleep as long as possible, but recently I’ve been getting up earlier in the mornings and enjoying getting a lot more stuff done. While I still love to sleep, I find I feel better throughout the day if i get up and do what needs done in the mornings. I’ve never been a morning person, but I love lazy evenings so I find that if i get stuff done in the morning I don’t have anything to do in the evening!
So 2015 for me, fitness wise has been a bit of a let down. I no way claim to be a fitness freak, or even remotely a gym bunny but I’ve always had the intention and it’s the enthusiasm that counts right? But I’m stuck in a hard place at the moment – I hate working out, but I want to be fit! You can see my dilemma right?
