A few weeks ago I have the pleasure of attending the launch party at the grand Palazzo de Piro in Mdina, with my new found love for everything skin care I was looking forward to this.
For those of you that haven’t heard of Imedeen, it’s a oral skincare supplement that improves the condition of your skin from within. The product reaches the deep dermal layer that traditional skin care just can’t reach. Each of their products contain Imedeens exclusive Marine complex a unique blend of proteins and polysaccharides containing elements similar to those naturally found in the skin, alongside zinc and vitamin C.
Thought out evening we were treated to wine and canapés and introduction to the brand. I was also delighted to hear that fellow blogger Caroline Paris from Carolinefashionstyling.com had been announced as the Malta ambassador for Imedeen.
There are currently 3 products available in Malta – Derma one (for ages 25+), Time Perfection (for ages 40+) and Prime Renewal (for ages 50+). Before you start there an Dermascan of the skin in taken on the back of the wrist (so that the results aren’t distorted by skincare products) Here’s a look at mine…
Ok so i doesn’t look like much but let me sum it up – the black line on the left is the epidermis – the part of the skin you can touch. The coloured dots represent the collagen, elastin and moisture retaining elements in the invisible dermal layer. I was surprised that my results were rather positive to start. Relatively even collagen but room for improvement, but slightly on the dehydrated side.
I’ll shortly be trailing the product and i’m very interested to the see the results as I’ve heard so many positive things about Imedeen. Stay tuned when I report back.
Do you have any experiences with Imedeen?
